What happens during the first consultation ?
During this first consultation, we are going to assess your scars ( size, depth, colour..)and together we will decide what is the best course of action.

PROCEDURE
Dermomask® actively stimulates production of collagen and elastine fibers, resulting in a natural cell regeneration.On the other hand , the superficial treatments available on the market , can only temporarily hide the scars: their end results don’t last and are disappointing . The matrix regeneration of the skin is a complex biological process, where the skin renews itself and get repaired. What exactly is a Scar ?
Scars are marks on the skin: they are the visible evidence of skin healing after any kind of wound .They appear when the deep layer of the skin, called dermis gets damaged and starts healing. Initially , scars can be red, purple or inflammatory .They can have a different texture compared to surrounding skin. Over the time, they tend to fade , getting paler and paler , and often , flatter. But they can stay visible undefinetly. Scars ca appear on different parts of the body, more often where skin got traumatised.
Scars can result from :
- Traumatic wounds: cuts, bites, burns, abrasions , stings can end up with a scar.
- Acne: Severe acne can leave scars , especially if the lesions have been incorrectly manipulated.
- Surgery: Post operative scars appear after any kind of surgery. Their quality depends on surgical techniques used but also on individual healing process.
- Skin disease: Some skin diseases such as chicken pox, eczema, psoriasis can leave some visible scars.
After care
- Each session takes place every 5 weeks.
- After your treatment, you need to apply Cicalfate cream 3 times a day for 10 days.
- Stay away from the sun for a year.
- Try not to cover the treated area with your clothes.
- Do not rub the treated area
- Wash with a baby soap.
- Use a sun screen.

Dermomask® can be used for all types of skin and all types of skin pigmentation. Everybody can have a Demomask® treatment and everybody will get amazing results.

Questions and answers
Before treatment you are instructed to apply some numbing cream on the scar a couple hours before.
Patients can have some apprehension , especially as we are using tiny needles but the treatment is actually painless .All you feel is a mild prickling, and it s totally bearable.
